NEW CHANGES IN THE UPCOMING
2026/2027 SCHOOL YEAR!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FUSE...
After our next show (New Sheriff in Town) FUSE Performing Arts Collaborative will no longer run as a part of B.A.S.E. standard after school programming. We encourage you to explore the new expanded program options for the 2026/2027 school year below for more details. We are excited to begin a new chapter with opportunities and enhancements in our offerings!
SPRING SEMESTER
January 5th - May 1st
MUSICAL
When a Wild West theme park faces a modern rival and an unexpected bank robbery, it’s up to a scrappy young performer with big ideas to prove that honoring the past doesn’t mean fearing the future. Saddle up for a hilarious, heartfelt musical about standing your ground, rewriting the story, and embracing the spirit of the pioneer.

We will rehearse two (2) times a week.
Students are required to commit to at least one (1) of the rehearsal days- Tuesday or Wednesday, or both*.
*Being available for only one rehearsal day may affect the
size/responsibility of your child's role.
FUSE does not meet on Holidays and Vacation weeks.

WE ASKED THE KIDS ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH BASE THEATER.
HERE'S WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY...
MEET THE TEAM

We are excited to announce that FUSE will be led by our very own Ms. Kayte, a passionate and dedicated theatre educator who has been inspiring our BASE children for the past five years through her creative work, including writing and directing our last two End of the Year Shows. With over 15 years of experience in directing, writing, and acting in both New York and Boston, and a Masters in Theatre Education from Emerson, Ms. Kayte has a deep-rooted connection to theatre programs throughout the South Shore. She will be collaborating with a talented team of specialized teaching artists, each expertly trained in their field, to create an enriching experience for our children. With the enthusiastic support of BASE, Ms. Kayte is thrilled to bring this exciting opportunity to life. We invite families to embrace this unique initiative, as it promises to enhance their children's social-emotional and creative growth, while reinforcing the strong sense of community that BASE embodies. Let’s celebrate this shared journey of learning and exploration together!

Ms. Sam is thrilled to return this fall as part of the FUSE team!
Over the past two years, she has supported our older BASE students as a costume designer and choreographer for various plays and performances. Through her involvement in theater, Ms. Sam has continued to sharpen her skills in costuming and sewing—passions she’s eager to share with the students joining the FUSE program this year. While she doesn't come from a traditional theater background, her love for music and musical theater runs deep, and she brings that enthusiasm into every creative project.
