BASE

BASE strives to provide a rich environment for your child to learn and grow.

We offer activities including: Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Computer, Drama, Music, Organized Games, Sports, Karate and Gymnastics.

Each day, children participate in age appropriate activities, which are taught and or monitored by staff to ensure a balance of physical and mental stimulation. Written program plans are posted in each room on an information board.

When: Tuesdays
(a)3:30-4:00 p.m. - Preschool II and the K-surround a
(b)4 - 4:45 p.m. - First through third grade and K-surround pm
Cost: $150.00 - This includes your child's uniform fee for first time sign-ups only. There is an additional fee for returning students who would like to order a new uniform.
Duration: 10 weeks

Please pass in your checks with your child’s name on the memo line to secure your spot. Spots are limited so sign up fast. You may pay with check (or cash) made payable to BASE and a permission slip must be signed.

GYMNASTIC CLASSES by Joan's Olympic Gym Gymnastics

The olympic gymnastics events taught are: vaulting, uneven parallel bars, balance beam and tumbling. Pre-school classes also learn locomotor skills for the development and strengthening of general coordination.

Class Time: Tuesdays and Thurdsdays 9:00 – 10:00, must arrive at BASE by 8:30 a.m.
Location: Joan's Olympic Gym, 197 Quincy Avenue, Braintree
Fee: $100.00 for 10 weeks, checks are to be made out to BASE

B.A.S.E CLUBS
Thursdays 4:30 - 5:30 p.m

All About Games
Located in the first grade room, Miss Bridget will hold a game club - details to follow

Music
In the third grade room, Mr. Sam teaches the students rhythms and the use of different instruments, sounds and songs.

Comic Books
Miss Nicky's club in the second grade room is dedicated to the creative development of our students artistic abilities. Miss Nicky provides instruction and assistance while students create their own comic book.

Sports
Miss Lauren will choose a fun sport, aerobic and challenge activities to engage and energize students in grades 1-3 to promote sportsmanship and fitness in the gym.



BASKETBALL CLINIC
Please note that the Basketball Clinic is now finished and will start again in September 2011!

For Ages 3.5 - 5 Years
Saturday Afternoons Time: 3:00 - 4:00 PM
Six Week Session

Objectives: · Learn the fundamentals of the game · Encourage team participation · Practice dribbling, shooting and passing · Basketball related games

Coach: John Duddy BA.S.E .Assistant Director School Age/Before School Director
Cost: $60.00 for six week session

MOVIE NIGHTS

This program is designed to give busy parents a night out and a safe, fun and affordable place to bring their kids.

Cost: $15.00 per child.
